Off topic but I clicked on one of the responders twitter profiles(to confirm he was a Dipper/Rag) and it was filled with clips from the Cameroon conflict. There's some nasty stuff indeed happening out there by the looks of it(wouldn't advise looking). Only on twitter...

He is a better ball player and passer than Ake and has more physical presence.
He is not happy being left out.
A little surprised at his public moaning. Laporte was given his chance against Arsenal and yes he did score but he was also at fault for the goal. The standard of our CBs has increased, Dias and Stones aren’t making any mistakes and Laporte has to be up for the challenge.
He’s quality and just needs to stay focused. Like with John it’s all mental.
Laporte is a world class defender who has made a few mistakes this season but I would imagine if he can’t get into the team he will move on in the summer and he will have a choice of going anywhere . He will not stay with us and we will make a really big mistake in allowing this to happen .

Rotation mate isn’t that why we have supposedly 4 quality centre backs . It was only last season he was our vvd and we compared him to that but now he is our new otamendi . How strange half a season can go. When laporte was better than our other CBs he played regularly and they sat back. Now they have improved and are more in form than him. He has to stop moaning , improve and make no mistake when he plays. Rotation was why he got a chance against arsenal and was at fault for the goal. Its a well known fact he doesnt get on with Deschamps and doesnt even get near the French squad and when a clown like Zouma is picked in preference then there is obviously more to it than simple football issues , but hopefully he respects Pep's judgement and the fact that Dias & Stones are the men in form and he has to wait to grab his opportunity.
He doesnt look happy on the bench but who would be ? He would walk into any team in europe at the moment whcih only proves how good our defence is looking at the moment , personally i would play all three Dias/Stones/Laporte , nothing would get past those three , and have two wing backs , Walker and Cancelo/Mendy flying forward and drop the the double pivot defensive midfield idea , just find a system to get our best players on the pitch in their natural positions.

Why do people keep saying stupid things like this? If we had a pair of wingers who were scoring every week and putting in performances that made them undrinkable- likes Stones and Dias are - then Mahrez wouldn't get near the side either.
Fact is we are struggling to find our attacking mojo and none of the forwards are playing particularly well so they are all getting shuffled.
There is no comparison between the situation at right wing and the situation at centre back and that's obvious, so why the disingenuous comparisons?
