pretty much based on philips and nunes signings and he wasn´t really a world beater in that porto side atm ,which is struggling pretty hard in portuguese league ,but hopefully he is much better than those 2 i mentioned and could help us a lot. Still finding a replacement for Kev is a must.

Nico wasn't a panic buy, we've scouted him for years. The Philips transfer has been repeated as a panic a few times and it most definitely wasn't - we wanted him for a while and signed him at the start of July. He's been shite for us but he wasn't a panic buy.

you don´t have to replace him like for like ,there will never be another zidane ,iniesta ,zavi ,pirlo or de bruyne ,but there will be players similar or near to that lvl for sure

Poor first touch, fails to control the ball with his back to goal, pressure from behind, falls too easily and without shielding the ball well enough and loses it. This is something rodri never faltered in and I was really hoping Nico could help us in those exact situations with his superior technical ability so seeing that was very disheartening

What the same Rodri that got slated on here (shock) during his 1st season. Then eventually became the best player in the word?

The lads played 20 mins against a league 1 team on a pitch worse than some high schools. And he looked decent!!

And rodri deserved the criticism in his first season. Why are people reading something I'm not saying? Why do defensive? We're here to analyze players on their merit game by game. Of course you don't give up or make up your mind on someone immediately.
