14 | Nico Gonzalez - 2025/26

He gets caught wrong side and often ends up wrestling opposition a bit too much for me at the mo but he's often where he needs to be and does a lot of important little things. Definitely deputizing very well in rodri's absence and seems a good guy and team player
 
Okay everyone who said this guy would be a flop, please form an orderly queue because I want to know what you think now
 
Easy to forget he’s only 23. If he was English like Rice then the press this guy would be getting would be non-stop. He’s ticking nicely under the radar doing a fantastic job & If he keeps improving he could become a hell of a player.
 
I can't remember him having a bad game since he arrived, yes it took him a while to "get" the speed in the PL, but he rarely misplaces a pass, getting stronger with each game, and rapidly turnining into one of my favourite players. He just seems so calm.

Should have played more last season for me.

I spoke to a blue at the match on Saturday who thinks he's shit. I don't get it we've been miles better as a team since he signed. Look at the games won and points tally since then.

Yeah but when Rodri is fit we won't be. You can't go buying three and four players for every position, our bench would have to be as long as the touchline. A bit like Chelsea.
