Post #614 refers. That's my position and I've seen no reason whatsoever to change it.
In my opinion, the club has wasted vast amounts of money on fees and wages since we won the CL, some of that being a chunk of the £20m+ paid to Pep for each of the last two years. He should have left after winning the CL. That was his pinnacle at City.
Pep's successor(s) should not be expected to pick up his systems/ideas etc. That's the approach that fucked up the rags post-Ferguson. The longer Pep stays around, the greater the pressure / expectation on the next coach.
Pep completed his mission at City in 22/23. The responsibility for any 'problems' after then lies with the Board and their apparent lack of any succession plans.
Pep's apparent attitude towards Nico Gonzalez and Khusanov, and previously Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips, is indicative of a possible disconnect between the recruitment and coaching staff. That needs sorting out asap.
