Can't believe how fucking insanely poor that ref was. Booking Donnarumma for time wasting was shocking when we were in the acendency, he hadn't even warned him prior to booking him, and booking Savio after he gives the free kick to us. He didn't have a clue what he was doing.

Could only watch the last 10 minutes and thought all though the pen was harsh he only has himself to blame for putting his feet that high in his own box, and with VAR and slow motion it will only ever end one way if the opposition makes a meal out of it. And he needs to take resposibility for that, it was beyond any doubt very silly and cost ut 2 points.

But very encouraging to read that so many think he played well after he came on. He has been a bit of a weird one to gauge the quality of so far, but there is definitely talent there

Brought control, good ball winning and made good decisions on the ball. The ref was nonsense with him throughout - I'd forgotten that one about 1m40 in, where the Monaco player went down clutching his face, after Nico had turned.

Pep is happy with his development and willingness to be coached.

Still think that we may need both Rodri and Gonzalez in difficult games away from home. It would mean playing Foden on the wing, but it will makes us solid in midfield and able to dominate games.
