16 Points - Sense of Perspective

Your viewing it emotionally rather than rationally.

Our mentality has been strong all season of which there are numerous examples.

Your sample size of two doesn’t mean there is a mentality issue. You’re choosing to ignore all the contrary evidence.
Our mentality has been mostly fantastic you're right. But if we're ever going to win the champions league we need to be 100% consistent when it matters

No im suggestg that its a lot closer than people saying its done (and have been saying that for a couple of months)....its done when mathematically its done...as Pep says...one game at a time

Pep wasn't thinking one game at time yesterday or he'd of put a full strength team out or at least started with a recognised striker. His mind was on Tuesday which for me is a bit of a lost cause anyway.
If we'd of won yesterday and bagged the title at home against our biggest rivals then the mindset of the team and crucially us as fans would be on a totally different plain going into Tuesday .

I am not sure we often gonna have 10+ points lead going into the tough part of CL around Feb/March/April. When we have we should do use it to our advantage in CL.
Gonna be much harder to play these CL games if next year lets say we gonna be 2 points clear only on top or 3 points behind around end of March.

By the time we play Swansea I have little doubt that the lead will be down to 7 points, as the rags have a midweeker vs Bournemouth as well as West Brom at home, and I expect us to get nothing at Spurs. So it boils down to 2 wins (or 1 win and 2 draws) from our last 5 games, all against relegation threatened teams with something to play for. There's no reason we shouldn't do that with something to spare, but a) if we get to half time goalless against Swansea, the crowd's nervousness might get to the players, b) there's no knowing yet just how much the disappointment of the last few days (plus Liverpool and Spurs to come) will prey on the player's minds, and c) there are always unforeseen variables such as injuries, and when it comes to lucky breaks at the moment we are like Dan Ackroyd in Trading Places; homeless, jobless, dressed as Father Christmas in the pouring rain, with a dog peeing up his leg. I thought we were past all this unprofessionalism and associated fretting, but I didn't sleep a wink last night cos of yesterday. Complacency is our enemy

exactly my point I've made earlier....he wasn't thinking one game at a time when he put out the team yesterday......that was obvious....he needs to return to that .

I fully agree with your whole post

Hahaha get a grip some of you, they’re not going to catch us up.

No but we could have humiliated them yesterday and really ground them into the dirt and give them their worst nightmare.

Instead they got bragging rights and will soften the blow of the title win.

Good. the longer they think things aren't so bad the better
