My 9 year old at the time nephew saw him and his Argentine mate in the Trafford Centre when he was manager. My nephew was too shy to ask him for an autograph.

Shopping in Lacoste he was, always classy was Mr Vampire Eyes ;-)

Two league cups and a Premier League for the engineer, not too shabby.

Happy Birthday Nosferatu and many thanks.
We played some great stuff in that title winning season. The 4-1 over the rags, the 6-0 over Spurs, 7 against Norwich, 6 against Arsenal, 5 at Spurs etc etc. We were fun to watch. Probably Yaya's peak season, Edin stepping up during the run in when Sergio was injured. God, but we were good. It tends to be forgotten, though, given the way it drifted away in the next couple of seasons. And, of course, what Pep achieved.

3 trophies in 3 seasons should have brought him legend status. Sad how it ended with him being like a caretaker manager, but we tailed off after 1st season.

1st season in England, two trophies and doesn’t win manager of the year award. The award went to Tony Pulis for taking Palace from bottom to 11th.
Mourinho wins the same two trophies the following season and gets MOTY award.
