Amazing how we've even begun to slag Kev. True, Kev isn't at his brilliant best right now, but others around him need to step up.
 
It’s the tactics. whoever plays in the two number 8 roles right now are putting in piss poor ineffective performances because the plan peps asking them to do isn’t working, he made plenty of those second man underlapping runs today as did Bernardo on the other side but he was tracked and it didn’t work because teams know that’s our biggest and arguably only form of attack right now, stop that and we look clueless. Could copy and paste this into any player performance thread that’s being asked to play in the 8 role.

One of the main problems. He is there to create chances and to score a good few himself. He isn’t doing either. The problem is magnified by the fact he has no one at the side of him doing it either.
 
Guys it's not funny any more, when I was writing earlier about his constant moaning I couldn't even have imagined that it would follow:

Kevin De Bruyne: “I'm not surprised. We had about seven days of pre-season, I played with my national team after one training session. What do people expect of us?!”

WTF is that ? So we can finish this season and blame everything to pre-season ? Only City players had such difficulties ?

This kind of attitude effects other players, especially young ones..

Someone at the Club should tell hime to stop talking about this and be a leader his Captain armband obliges him to be..
 
People slagging off Kev when he's getting man-marked every game and is still somehow carrying the entire fucking attack has to be one of the lowest points of this forum in the Pep era.
