Even in that cameo you see exactly what weve been missing. Not just his passing but his movement and runs. He makes us so much better.
His runs are so lethal and are a constant menace. His 1-2 combos. We really missed this guy. We just click when he plays. Now that his back, how do they stop his movements, runs, assists? How do they stop the combination of him, Doku, Foden/Bernado and Haaland/Alvarez. This second half of the season, is going to be a BLOCKBUSTER, edge of your sit thrill! Damn, I am buzzing!

So good to see him back and looking as sharp as ever.

We all know that KDB can usually take a few games to get back to his best after injury - no sign of that today. Maybe the extra caution we have taken this time has helped.

Best player in the world, and if things go our way, he'll finally get his chance to be decisive in a Champions League final before he leaves Manchester.

The last of the old generation. The king, the sniper, the greatest midfielder we’ve ever had is back. Damn this picture makes me nostalgic.

Nostalgia is a strange thing. The rational part of me knows that Bony, Sagna, Navas, Demichelis, Mangala and Fernando are relics of a not-particularly-successful era of City history that will not be remembered kindly by history, but there's always going to be a huge part that thinks of them all very fondly.

Aaah, that Kev goal against PSG in the CL Quarter… who would have known then.

The rational part of my brain: It was just Huddersfield and they weren't parking the bus anymore...

The part of my brain I'm listening to: City were more dangerous than they'd been all season for the 30 minutes KDB was on the pitch. With him fresh for the 2nd half of the season they're winning the treble again and will outscore opponents 4:1 from here on out!!!!

Suddenly we have a lot of attacking options again. KDB and Phil in the middle, Bernardo in the middle or out wide, Grealish, Doku and Bobb out wide too. Alvarez banging in the goals again. Kovacic and Nunes improving to be decent squad players.

All this and Haaland hasn't even set foot on the pitch for over a month. If everyone stays fit, it's 4 in a row no problem.

Looks like the club have managed this injury really well. Arguably he came back a bit too soon after the CL final, although the club clearly thought he was okay. But they've gone for a safer approach, got him doing a lot of training and after Newcastle he has another couple of weeks to train and strengthen before he's fully unleashed.

What a boost for the team to have him fit and ready to come back. He'll motivate the team, strike fear into the opposition and just help sew everything together. He's still got unfinished business in the CL as well, so I'm sure he's desperate to get another chance of making a final and actually playing a major part in it.
