Brilliant today. 0-2 down you could see everyone was hurting, yet it was he that took the game by its scruff and imposed his will. Oh how we will miss him.

Certainly did. He is still the best provider on the planet and if you give the man targets in positions to attack from he'll have an impact, that ability won't leave him. Still think we are letting him leave a year too early but we'll have to adapt.

Again he's always capable of a performance like this, problem is just like the rest of the team these days, can he do it consistently until the end of the season ? hopefully he will, he deserves to leave on a high.

He'll have quality in his feet until he's a pensioner, he's gifted. Give him space and he can punish anyone like today but his legs don't allow him the time and space in most games at this level anymore and it'll only get harder.

Right time to leave but hope we get a couple more great performances out of him.

Even if today is his last hurrah in terms of showing his quality and dictating a game, that'll do for me.
