Too many are critsizing KDB, even though he was our best player today.

While I’d agree he was far from our worst performer today, I think Kovacic was the City MOTM.

He was shocking, passing, shooting gone.

Our best ever player but a player that is shot and needs to go into semi retirement in the MLS and fill his boots for one last time.

Did you watch the game?

His passing was way off, often a passenger, created one half chance, he is long gone as an elite player.
 
Who gave those ratings? Ray Charles?

This is why football isn’t for some people. Form opinions off some stupid website and take that rating as gospel.

If you watched that game and genuinely thought only 2 players were below a 7 then football isn’t for you.

We’d be lucky to have 2 players above a 7.

Did anyone see a replay of the challenge he made that VAR took a long look at for serious foul play? The stream I was watching never replayed it as it happened just before sulemana went down after the knock in the face so kept replaying that instead.

I literally thought Kev was going to get suspended for his last matches!!
 
Hard to see him like this. His footballing mind is still the best out there, but he labours way too much and it shows with his kicking power and accuracy.
 
I'm interested to know - is Pep picking him these days just to ask him after every 90 minutes "So you're still good enough for the PL are you????"
It's a horrible watch, and it's giving us zero benefit now.
More importantly it's giving us zero benefit next season, we should clearly be utilising players we think could do the role or release someone to do it now - Marmoush/Grealish/Gonzalez spring to mind from yesterday's bench

It’s a great question. Surely it’s through Peps advice that we’re not extending but yet he’s playing him every game. Is it Pep’s decision? I don’t even know what goes on at the club anymore in terms of decisions. I don’t think you say we kept/signed xyz because Pep wanted him, otherwise I’m certain Doku wouldn’t be here

If Pep didn’t like Doku he just wouldn’t play. Pep is not bothered about freezing a player out that he doesn’t rate and never has been. I’m sure Jezza frustrates him at times but like most people can see the unique talent he has and potential.
