Doing inflatables. All we can do is set the conditions. Up to people out there to help us fight the apathy

I think its a great idea, and i hope it goes well, but why not just buy like 100 or so- you can get them for a quid and give them out. I just cant see many people taking them tbh, youve annouced flags days and given out flags yet I rarely ever see any flags or sticks.

problem is that lots of people don't bring back flags... same can happen with inflatables.
best to put out a smaller number of bananas and making sure they go to the right people (who is gonna use and bring those back)
we, as a group, set conditions (by putting a good number of inflatables out) and it's up to people to get involved and bring their own inflatables if they want to create a special atmosphere

Yeah. Moneys tight. We rely on selling stuff and donations. So budget for this game is £100 which is going on inflatables and they will go into the livelier parts of the ground. But people out there can bring their own. People brought scarves in from home on a red hot day for the derby and with a push from the club via social media we might see people bring stuff in from home again.

People don't always want to bring a flag in from home. People like to go for a pint etc not cart a flag around. But if you want a group going for 10 years like these euro groups we need 10,15 grand a year. So we can't dish them out for free cos we'd only last 3 games, we have to charge a small amount to give us some cash flow which at least allows us to do something every game
