If he was a dog…
I wouldn’t have him anywhere. Everything he does is in slow motion. I don’t want that at 6, 10 or anywhere else on the pitch TBH.He can't play as a 6 anymore. His minutes off the bench should be as a 10 and nothing else.
He's still got it technically, just has no legs whatsoever and the opposition can target him there. A bit like Kev.I wouldn’t have him anywhere. Everything he does is in slow motion. I don’t want that at 6, 10 or anywhere else on the pitch TBH.
Exactly this, he just doesn't have the legs anymore to play the #6 role, especially when you have KDB in there as well.Buy Ederson simply so its him and Kova rotating as the 6.
Then use Gundogan as a backup 8/10.
He cant be the shield in front of the backline.

Those three were also a level above Gündy, as much as I love IlkaySame happened to the likes of Pirlo, Iniesta and Modric, but they remained really effective because they were shielded by other more athletic players so they could do what they were best at and use their brains not their legs.
The problem with City at the moment is we don’t have that kind of protection for Kev and Gundogan.

No even closeHe sits at the David Silva / KDB table for me.
With what he’s achieved before his comeback not too far awayNo even close

It’s all on PepIf he was a dog…
Hard to tell when his legs never give him the chance to show itHe's still got it technically, just has no legs whatsoever and the opposition can target him there. A bit like Kev.
The shit this lad is getting after all he has done for us (and won for us don't forget) is fuckin toecurling.
You posters sticking the boot in on him shows the selfish and childish attitude of these entitled pricks who are absolutely well out of order.
Short memories lots of you have, very short.
Just to reiterate Gundog was brought in as playing a bit part in the team, play the cup matches, come on if we are winning, give players a bit of a rest. What we didn't know was what would happen to us in these last 2 months where injuries and form fucked us over big time. He's played and started more games that he and Pep probably didn't want to happen but he stepped in, knowing he wasn't the Gundog of 2 years ago. Yes he's slower and lost that bit of sharpness but fuck me enough of the pile on for him.
People have short memories on here, get behind the lad and remember the service he has given us.
Hang on, you really dont think DM is demanding in a pep guardiola team? Regardless of your opinion on gundo, that take is mental and i cant disagree more.Same old nonsense. Clubs across Europe give chances to kids.look at Barcelona. Yes the club is in shambles but they trust them. DM is not demanding Role only at city.players will learn when given opportunity in tough times. That is when character are tested. Pep may have different thought process
