Wouldn’t hate to see him transition into that back three role for City now and again. Provides peerless cover in behind while still allowing us to play Cancelo as a wingback

We played that way against arsenal at the beginning of last season. A back 3 of walker, Dias, and Ake. Cancelo as wing back/8 hybrid. Foden closest thing to a left wing back with aguero and sterling up front.

It's one of my favourite lineups and performances of the season. I'd love to see that used more often.

Good point. As much as people praise Stones and McGuire, I actually think his versatility is the reason why that back 3 worked for England. Replace him with another normal CB there, it not going to work equally as good. This could very well be our solution to Chelsea crisis next season.

It must be fucking shit playing against Walker. There is no amount of running you can do to get away from him. Best chance you've got is some fancy footwork and that will buy you a yard at best before he's turned on the burners and slid through you.

He was the key cog in our win tonight even Mullers miss was because he felt he was coming for him.
Yep, thought the pressure from walker from missed by a few people, pickford did well, but muller had to shoot a lot earlier than he wanted to because one more stride and walker would of tackled him. The geezers speed is a joke.

I really like him in the 3, while I think sometimes he passing ability might lack a bit for the RB pos, his ability is more than enough at the CB, I also think he's a really smart passer 99% of the time.

How many people laughed when we paid £50m for him?

One of Pep's best signings.
To be honest, when we bought him I thought the club were making a mistake.

I'm happy to admit I've been proved massively wrong.

There are times where he'll have a brainfart but when he's switched on and focused there's no fullback better, he dominates that side of the pitch, no winger wants anything to do with him

MOTM imo. He has to be one of the best ATHLETES England has ever seen.. I'm convinced he could have been a professional athlete of 1 or 2 other sports. He's just built different.
