It was daft, hopefully it doesn't affect us in the knockouts.

Of all the players who could have done it though, Kyle has more than enough credit in the bank.

He's having a great season, he looked like he needed a rest tonight tbh.

Agreed, he needs a rest, whilst his actual speed hasn’t altered much, what has altered is his recovery ability after those lung bursting sprints, he can no longer do what he’s always done for the full 90 minutes.
Kyle and the coaching team need to manage his style and be a bit more conservative.

I thought his hack was no worse than the one carried out on Gabby vs Watford. Different punishments for different teams it would seem. Silly boy but still one of our best performers this season.

I think the unintelligent decision was starting Walker in an absolutely pointless game. I doubt if Walker made that call himself.
Still an inexcusable hack given it was inevitably going to result in a red and then missing the first leg of the knockout round, at least.

We're a much worse side without him not only because he's the only defender we have with any pace but also because missing him will mean playing Cancelo out of position.

Deserved red idiotic challenge but he’s been great this season so lots of credit in the bank

Sure, but Pep didn't ask him to kick out at someone out of frustration.
