Every fullback has been torn to shreds on several occasions. Not sure that game was any real indicator as bad as it was.

They are but sadly it's nearly every game for Kyle, I thought he was very ordinary in the WC and clubs have targeted him for some time as a weakness.

Oh definitely now. I felt last year was maybe just tiredness and he's never been the sharpest in the mind.

Now he looks shot.

As captain he should withdraw himself if he had any pride left.

I would imagine his off the field activities have hammered him financially and hence why he is still wanting to play for the national team.

That alone should have ended after the WC and given him more R&R during this season.

Saudi is the only hope of shifting him on.

Can we just give the armband to Dias? The team needs a reliable leader now and I believe Dias will be the guy who can bind us together. I'm sorry but Walker really isn't that leader type of guy and let alone his performance has been really questionable lately.
 
He was always a guy who's insane physical skills bailed out his limited mental skills, so it's not surprising he looks awful now they can't. Without the ability to make up 5 yards, he's just always 5 yards away from where he should be, as he's not tactically aware enough to adjust

Dias interview with Jan Age Fjortoft post match is why he should be made captain with immediate effect.

With this guy as captain our problems will quickly go away.​

 
Probably the best full back in PL history. A brilliant player and someone who has performed time and time again for us. That shouldn't be forgotten just because he's lost it and we're not the side we were.

Some of our players are at the end now, but they've given us so much to celebrate and time's just caught up with them. Kyle was always reliant on speed and never going to be able to deliver without it. He's completely lost that acceleration and it's not coming back.

His contract should be ended this summer and, if Sheffield United get promoted, go and spend a season with them in the PL.

Croatia's coach also sees him as a full back and Gvardiol was a centre back playing for RB Leipzig when we ripped them apart a couple of season ago.

I guess the best thing Pep could do is ban Walker from trying to be Mike Bassett in the dressing room and giving speeches using generic footballing cliches. My guess is that they’re as shit as his post match interviews.

Make Dias and Gundogan give the team talks when required.

could if we played a back four but we don't, we invert one into a back three. which is his natural position.

Dias cant play RB, he gets CCB

I get the thinking though.
