2 x 2 Footed Tackles

What's hilarious is how they lose the plot when they are losing agianst us.... running around like crazed gibbons desparately taking a hack at players that are clearly out playing them.

It's pure Sunday pub team stuff LLOL !!!! (that's welsh lol btw !!)

Managed to make the two tackles into gifs but giving this error when trying to post them,

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.

So heres the links

Rooneys - <a class="postlink" href="http://s5.postimg.org/t1uoecd2d/Rooney_Tackle.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://s5.postimg.org/t1uoecd2d/Rooney_Tackle.gif</a>

Welbecks - <a class="postlink" href="http://s5.postimg.org/wzmjhhp9h/Wellbeck_Tackle.gif" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://s5.postimg.org/wzmjhhp9h/Wellbeck_Tackle.gif</a>

Welbecks looks worse in my opinion.
both (especially welbeck's) a lot worse then Vinny's at Arsenal this season, good job it wasn't the same ref last night ! errr wait a minute ?

I think I was the only one near me (E230) who called the Welbeck "tackle" as two-footed. But then I wasn't six feet away looking straight at it. Sadly the Refs Association website is down so I can't wind up the Rags (and Mods) on there by suggesting inconsistency...

They weren't that bad. It was a derby and there should be tackles like that - and Zaba's on Young - flying in. Young petulantly threw the ball at Zabs, Zaba purposely went and hurt him; that's what happens in sports like rugby, I'd like it to come back in football too. Wellbeck and Barry's challenge was good to see and although Rooney's was a bit dodgy, he rightly got booked.

This is a sport played by men, but the game has become so sanitised and supporters so whiney about shit that derby day tackles have almost been eradicated. That should never have happened. Thirty years ago - if there were Internet forums - this thread wouldn't exist.

Fuck it. There were meaty challenges going in all the time and nobody was sent off and we won; a perfect derby. I'd like football to be more like last night, please and everyone from players to fans to grow some balls and enjoy stuff like that.

Most footballers are shithouses with massive mouths.

In Rugby League they would have a good set to, with 7 or 8 involved, swinging the right hooks, whilst the ref watches and then has a word. 10 minutes later it is all forgotten about.

Barely a football match goes by without some prick giving it the big un, mouthing off, acting the hard man. When was the last time you saw someone do something about it (and I don't mean a cowardly two footer, elbow or leg breaker)? They should grow up, shut their mouths and get rid of all the posturing.

FFS, the last time there was an incident of a footballer "seeing someone in the tunnel" Arsenal players were flinging pizza at someone.

Shrek got away with it from the first derby and he pulled it off again ..
Bobby is right ..there are two different rule books
