A lot of the games he was on the bench for were the mass rotation games. He was definitely in the first choice XI.
That's true for CL games but not the big domestic games, of the domestic games against last years top 4 in the PL:

FA Cup
Chelsea: 0 minutes (unused sub)

EFL Cup
Utd: 0 minutes (not in squad)

PL
Utd: 0 minutes (home and away unused sub),
Leicester: 0 minutes (home injured and away unused sub),
Chelsea: 90 minutes (played full game away 3rd Jan, home 0 minutes unused sub)

Pep had a difficult job last season, Bernardo's form dipped and Pep tries to operate a meritocracy. This season Bernardo is back to great form and will hopefully he will maintain this and get lots of game time against the big teams domestically as well as in the CL.

I was specifically referring to the games at the end of the season to respond to the post I was quoting.

Let's show Bernardo our appreciation for him as much as we can at the games.
He's an incredibly popular person, to have around.

(Perhaps he could have got his move if Spanish club's have not had their finances so badly effected by Covid?)

Whatever is making him unsettled, it won't do any harm giving him an extra 'feel good boost' by showing him how much he is still loved by us fans!

I noticed he got a lot of love when we had corners on Saturday when he went short with Gundogan. A lot more than usual as well. It was great to see!

How did Leicester make it into this list?
