Almost a complete 180 from last season outside work rate and ball retention (good last year still).
Funny how it was seeming he was not a Merlin replacement in CM and more of a winger, but when the goals dried up he got more time at CM and now that seems to be his position (of course with all of the switching).
Creativity has returned, and he's no longer just an invisible cog that helps more covertly, but doesn't add much in the final third as he had last season.
We heard him earlier this season after one match say he "loves the club" so not sure what to make of the rumours about wanting to leave Manchester also knowing fans love him so much, other than maybe that was more of just an "excuse" to find a way out when seemed he was off.
Really hope he stays now as he's been our best player this season probably outside of Foden and with a decent shout for Rodri (also turned things around and more bedded in).
