All the talk of giving Sterling a extension and one already for KDB, this guy is the most deserving.

This guy sweats blood for the cause, shows incredible passion for the shirt and is a superb footballer.

Make the man an offer he can't refuse, he must not be allowed to leave the football club.

To lose him now would be a disaster, even more so with the worrying physically state of KDB and the ageing Gundo.

Almost a complete 180 from last season outside work rate and ball retention (good last year still).

Funny how it was seeming he was not a Merlin replacement in CM and more of a winger, but when the goals dried up he got more time at CM and now that seems to be his position (of course with all of the switching).

Creativity has returned, and he's no longer just an invisible cog that helps more covertly, but doesn't add much in the final third as he had last season.

We heard him earlier this season after one match say he "loves the club" so not sure what to make of the rumours about wanting to leave Manchester also knowing fans love him so much, other than maybe that was more of just an "excuse" to find a way out when seemed he was off.

Really hope he stays now as he's been our best player this season probably outside of Foden and with a decent shout for Rodri (also turned things around and more bedded in).

I think being by himself in lockdown in a gloomy Manchester really got to him, along with the Mend tweet issue, he looks happy again and playing his best football

Thankfully he has the City Portuguese mates, and the Portuguese Rags mates.

And the weather over the last 2 months hasn't been that bad.

Saying that, it is sunny and 24 degress in Lisbon and across Portugal.

He does need to buy a nice house in Cheshire with a pool and grounds. His family could stay more often and enjoy staying in Manchester more.

I won't forgive the management for letting him go.

If they don't see he makes that midfield and attack tick then they're idiots.

Just pay him whatever he wants, don't let that contract run down or leave in anyway. He's feeling the love.

its not about money, its about country and weather

I know.

But give him enough money that makes the decision more likely he stays.

He can have live in a country with better weather and more suited culture for him when he's 35 and can retire.

He can make bank until then.

his price only keeps going up,if clubs couldn't afford 50 mil will they be able to afford at least 70 mil next summer
