I just think Bernardo steps up to his best when de Bruyne isn’t there. Not so much they play in the same position, just that Bernardo takes responsibility for the team when de Bruyne is rested.

yes it is fucking stupid. our midfielders bernardo and KDB move to the wide areas and our fullbacks play in midfield. nullifying both their strengths. pep gets carried away by his own hype. there are certain times these interchange of positions works, but to play like that permanently like that is beyond delusional.

I’d like to see Rodri, Bernardo and Grealish in midfield with Foden and Alvarez flanking Haaland before the end of the season.

City have done their bit. The board has named its price and if Barcelona meet that asking price then they get the player. If they don't, then they won't. We are not a charity and we do not expect clubs to give us their players for less than market value. Rightly, we shouldn't and don't do likewise.
