Said previously the best signing we made is keeping him.... now I think its time to go.... getting tiresome and he's clearly not as committed as we'd want.

Thanks for the memories and efforts Berny, time to go

More crappy quotes from Bernardo. When he is playing out of his skin then he can say what he wants until a move materialises. The Bernardo silva this season looks to be trying to drive his price down to an acceptable fee. What club would want him if he is openly courting a move back to Benfica? Either way we need to wrap this up. The squad has an unsettled feeling about it this season. No wonder he is playing Jack just not in the right position.

Tough decisions for the boss. Let them move on and recruit a playmaker and Bellingham. Recreate the silva, Yaya options we used to have. This player has run his race with us.

Think he's earned the right to leave whenever he wants to be honest. I personally have not seen a more hardworking guy on the pitch for a good few years. That shift he put in against Liverpool at home in 2019 was just relentless. His work rate is absolutely phenomenal and apart from pep and maybe KDB, I'll miss him the most.

Barca who are constantly tapping him up, need to put the money we are asking for on the table, and he can move .

It's that simple but the cunts can't or don't want to pay for his services.

Fucked if I know why so many think Barca are the dog's bollocks as a club !
Barca does not see him as a good value purchase. They didnt hesitate to buy striker and wingers did they?

It is simple that even Bernado is a very good midfielder, Barca has plenty academy product lining up to fill the midfielder roles and they would rather put money on the front or the back line.

He needs to just fucking leave now, it’s boring going through this every summer. Just leave. We need to compromise with whatever club comes forward for him. We’re not getting something crazy like £80m. It’ll be about £40m-50m, we need to accept it and get players that are focused on City.

So let me get this straight - he wants to leave one of the best clubs (projects) in world football premature so he can make sure he gets a 5 year contract at another club to be able to go back to Benfica at a random age he’s made up in his head?

He has lost motivation to play for us. There is zero point in crowding the club with players that have lost motivation to play for us. Should be sold this summer.. hopefully!

It was them who initially started tapping him up, when they couldn't sign him.

Seeking a shiny new toy when they didn't have a pot to piss in - nice tactic to appease their cules !

Anyway, the principle is exactly the same for whoever he fancies moving to, and good luck to him if it's what he wants.

I doubt any truth in the tapping up. It is common for Barca to flirt with popular names to satisfy their fan base.

Anyway if Bernado really fancies city life that much, RCD Espanyol is also in the same location! I won't object to loan him out next season as long as bringing in good cash.

Good luck with that.

This is too tiring. The club has been very clear. They have set a valuation (a really fair one to be honest). There should not be any discussion about it. Every 3 months there are news coming from Bernardo that he will go if there is a good offer.

That's why I don't get people saying he is not at fault for it. You never saw any of that with KDB or Rodri or Foden or Walker... this is getting as bad as Mbappe where every month there are news about transfers.

Wonder if he would take the hit on his own financial package so that any interested team could lay out a higher transfer fee to City if he's that desperate to go [emoji848]

I might be missing your point, but as far as I'm aware, none of them want to leave

Bored shitless of this now. He's probably worn the fans down enough for us to happily wave him off. He's been poor this season too.

Getting enough now that he is digging around always, looks like the thruth come out now, Pep does want to have players that wants to leave, leave in January or summer depens on incoming players.

Yeah, but they've had offers. Every player has offers, and it's obly with Bernardo that we hear about them every couple months. We already know he wants to leave. All the important clubs know that, so what's the point on talking about it constantly? You know what you need to do to leave City, so do it and go or stay quiet and play your best.
