2015-16 season review dvd

Remember the 1990/91 season review when Quinn equalises at Anfield in the last minute and the footage would freeze with this line of commentary still playing...

"It's in! Niall Quinn has saved it!!!"

I hated Liverpool as much as United when I was a kid so this was replayed over and over. So much so that the tape is fuzzy. As with the 5-1 on 89/90 video and Morley at Bradford.

I will be most miffed if there is no DVD. Like many here I have all then others. And sadly I *do* still watch the old ones with a couple of beers every now and then (kept a VHS player just for this purpose!).

So no new news about this? Just ordered a bunch of old ones on amazon, would be a shame if they dont release one, all things concidered, we did win a cup and reach the semis of the cl

Product Description
It was a season that began in brilliant fashion with five straight victories without conceding a
goal; a season that saw Manchester City reach the semi-final of the Champion’s League for
the first time in their history, and a season that provided fans with a new hero in the shape of
goalkeeper Willy Caballero who saved three penalties as City beat Liverpool to win the 2016
Capital One Cup in dramatic fashion at Wembley.

The campaign will also be remembered for the extension of the South Stand in the Etihad
Stadium as well as the dignified departure of Manuel Pellegrini at the end of his three-year
contract. In addition to two League Cups he also won the 2013/14 Premier League title
becoming the first non-European manager to do so.

Here you can relive the highlights of every game including the Kevin De Bruyne-inspired defeat
of Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League, Sergio Agüero’s
five-goal destruction of Newcastle United and the emergence of youngster Kelechi Iheanacho
as a goal scoring force.

Also included on a bonus disc is the complete Capital One Cup Final and penalty shoot-out,
plus an exclusive interview with City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak.

I know last season wasnt a classic, but we won the league cup and there were some good games, but doesnt seem that there is a dvd release this year.
I've got all the previous available dvd's and would be nice to have to look back on in years to come.
Anyone heard anything?
Don't think there would be that much pleasure in watching it right through, it would be too much of an anti-climax. Most of the really good victories at the start, the cup win being in February. There was little memorable after the win over Villa in March. And can anyone honestly say they weren't a little worried during April that we might miss out on top 4?

Just checked it was in the city store on 12 Oct mate as I had a quick look at it

Got it. Only looked at the League Cup penalty shootout so far (glory hunter).

What a moment when Yaya scored - turned round and hurled a string of expletives at those dipper c***s in the second tier above us (very mature I know).

I mean the major highlights were Willy's shootout, De Bruyne's goal vs PSG at home, both 3-0's over Chelsea, 4-2 vs BMG, both matches against Sevilla and the Newcastle and (both) Bournemouth games.
