2016-17 Champions League Qualifying Matches - (3rd Round, 2nd leg, page 10)

According to here, they'll earn a minimum of €2.4m for getting into the group stage of the EL. If they could nab a couple of wins in the group, that's near enough another €750,000. Not €7.5m, but still a serious wedge for a LOI side.

Prize money must have gone up, hope they've fielded an ineligible player or something so.

And €3m for losing the CL playoff, and €900k so far for winning rounds.
Not sure what makes it up to 7.5M

Who we can face depends on how Shakhtar and Ajax do. If they both get through then they become seeded alongside us, Porto & Villareal with M'gladbach and Roma dropping into the unseeded pot.

That would mean we could draw Roma (ugh), M'gladbach and the winners of the Steaua/Sparta, Fenerbache/Monaco and Anderlecht/Rostov games.

As Shakhtar look pretty safe then Roma look like dropping into the unseeded pot. If Ajax slip up then M'gladbach stay as seeds and PAOK become the final unseeded team.

Any one of Shakhtar, Ajax, Anderlecht displace Roma.
Any two of Shakhtar, Ajax, Anderlecht displace both Roma and BM.
Anderlecht need one of Shakhtar and Ajax to miss out in order to be seeded.

Salónika would be a great trip. Went there with Mrs. raininspain for the Aris game some years ago and had a fantastic time. Having said that, PAOK fans are nutters!

i'm confused now, it all seems rather complicated.

would some **** be so kind as to briefly & simply summarise where we are at
and who our possible opponents are, going into tonight's games?
