2016-17 Champions League Qualifying Matches - (3rd Round, 2nd leg, page 10)

Not to mention how two mid week games at the very start of the season mess us up from the off if we get tough early league games.

And how we might also be a game behind if we have to rearrange an early season midweek league game to play the qualifier.

By my reckoning the teams we may face include:
Ajax
Fenerbahce
Rapid Vienna
Young Boys
Sparta Prague
Shaktar Donetsk
Gent
Second in Greek league

I know who I fancy.

Pep will find out what the media are like here PDQ if he does not negotiate what could be a tough qualifier.

These are Arsenal's recent results:

Last season Arsenal drew Besiktas and drew 0-0 away then won 1-0 at home.

Two years ago they drew Fenerbache and won 3-0 away and 2-0 at home.

2011 they won 1-0 at home to Udinese and then 2-1 away.

2009 they won 2- 0 at Celtic and then 3-1 at home.

As you can see they were lucky with the draw in getting a home tie second 3 out of the 4 times.

What are the odds we are so lucky!

United this season were drawn at home first and away second to Club Brugge and won 3-1 at home and 4-0 away.

Should be a packed house if Pep's first competitive game @ the Etty is the Champs League qualifier.
