2020 was generally sh*t, but have you any/many highlights ?

Struggling to find one for you , i got merlin but had to lose silva to have him, so neutral

Forgot wembley but i got covid so that took the shine off but a brilliant weekend away for me , thanks @worsleyweb x

we will get you up here executive style for silva testimonial!!!

Highlight for me was watching all the Geordies going giddy about becoming the richest club in the world when every other supporter knew it was never going to be allowed to happen.

2021 starts well. My car vandalised at 3am today. Done by the same kid who did it 6 times in 2020. On one of his rampages he damaged 20 odd cars, put 6 shop windows out and when the police attempted to arrest him he put one of them in hospital. Went to court for this and given an exclusion order from our town. When the police showed up this morning they told me he had been released from the half way house he was stopping at as there had been an outbreak of covid. Am now thinking of taking law into my own hands.
Did you send him off or something? He seems to have a grudge against you. I would wait a week or two and give the twat a fucking good hiding

It's not just my car that gets the treatment. 1 night he managed 27 & 6 shop windows before assaulting a police woman. Was given a custodial sentance but because of his "human rights" was placed in some sort of half way house. The reason being there was no youth offenders facility with spaces available within 75 miles and he has to be this close to his parents (who are local drug dealers).

As someone who ended 2019 crippled with aniexty and depression saddled with suicidal thoughts daily, self harming regularly not being able to function sometimes not even able to leave the house for weeks at a time 2020 has been a good year for me personally. A particular low point having to leave my sons first trip to a Manchester City game early after 20 mins I was having numerous panic attacks and needed to escape.

I have now set up my own external cleaning company and have been able to work consistently for the first time in over 6 years. The company is growing everyday and I am very pleased with how it is progressing. I now make a month what I did previously at my old job which was a personal target I had set out.

This has kept the aniexty and depression feelings to a minimum and more importantly I am now a much better husband and father to my two boys. It may sound stupid to some but even going to the local shop is a huge accomplishment for me.

As someone who thought life was just completely shite for years and years I hope someone can take solace from the fact things can and will change if you hang in there.

apologies for the long post.

Little wankers like that should have their human rights withdrawn as they have zero respect for anyone or anything

It was great to read such a positive story. Yes, life changes quickly.

Decided to try and make my youtube channel a full time endeavour at the start of 2020. Did it, then football got cancelled. Cracking timing lol....but its actually worked! Quite proud of myself for that. Ive managed to pay my bills and crack on and its been a bit of a surprise to me personally. First time ever being self-employed, and it's lead to more opportunities than I could've reasonably expected, even with my motivation for football being at an all time low. The one positive from 2020.
