Tests are the ultimate, er, test (!) of a team's ability. A shame it seems to have died a death in certain countries
Yeah. I get most are too time poor to be able to watch a whole test, but it’s still the ultimate challenge mentally and physically.

Might only be 3 or 4 countries that play tests in 5-10 years.

I just can’t get into T20, tried many times over the years. As for the Hundred, not for me either, so far.
The thing about cricket and trying to attract new fans is that 6-ball overs really blow their minds. It's a nightmare with all the statistics being thrown at them such as RPO, Econ. & Strike rates on top of all the rules and technical stuff going on - I think the Hundred makes it easier. Let's face it, both are very similar and just a case of whacking the ball as much as possible. Now they've introduced dancing air stewardesses and clapometer decibel readings, it doesn't matter any more, this very short format is for the new fans.

There’ll be triple point zones soon.

Maybe even a bankrupt zone that wipes all the team’s runs out too.

Love watching Hyde CC in the Cheshire County League.
55 overs per side, some top players and some stunning grounds.

Watched Lancs in the 50 overs comp last season because I have an affinity to a team.
Why the ECB invested in franchise stuff baffles me.

They sold over half a million tickets for it last year.

That’s probably why.

If Pakistan somehow manage to lose this, and I can't see how they'd manage that, I wouldn't bother going back home. Going on the social media reaction to their last three games, they may not get out of the airport unscathed!
