I can solve this for you Misty, with all that dough (in cash) you have stashed, just spend some and either buy an automatic (with CVT) or an EV.If you widen the debate to include air quality, which is what Drakeford has done, reducing the speed limit to 20mph makes air quality poorer as the vehicle is in 2nd gear and using more fuel,

Maybe kids and so called responsible adults should get some common sense, learn how to cross a road properly and occasionly lift their head up from their phones and get a general view of what the fuck is going on around them.I know but it's kind of obvious so how far do you go 15 10 5 walk?

20 mph on a busy residential street or near schools is fine but 20 mph is really slow and not necessary. Cyclists go quicker it's general fuckwittery tbh.

You mention school zones. Do your parents drive up to the school gates, park half on the pavement and half on the bright yellow hazard markings painted on the road just to save little Johnny walking 30 yards ?We've had it here for years in school zones, you just get used to it. Doesn't bother me.
I am sick of hearing all this crap about 20 mph around schools when parents act like selfish morons. They are so ignorant and are also the ones who seem to be driving the fastest to get there/away.

On average I wouldn't think so, my average is 26.4 mph ...there are no motorways to speak of and the roads in general wont let you average much more under normal driving especially in the holiday seasonsDo cars in Wales go above 30 mph ?
