I've seen enough glimpses of his ability this year to confidently predict he's going to be a big part of our teams success over the next couple of years.
Still learning, still making the odd error and wrong decision making here and there, but make no mistake this lad has the tools to play for us.

Agree. Just needs a bit of time

I think he's mustard and it's only a matter of time for him. Just a matter of patience and him getting enough games

I thought he played well yesterday by the way, and did brilliantly to win the pen

He is gonna be really good after he fully recovers from COVID which I think will take another 3-4 months.

His performances before covid were very very good and he's lost a bit of weight since covid and maybe gets pushed around a bit too easily off the ball but that can be fixed in the gym.

He is hard working, does the runs, link up play.. so give him time!

totally agree, this lad will kick on next season you watch

He is more of a direct threat that Raheem but also has better dribbling skills to beat his man, looked a little rusty last night but he is a very decent goal scorer already

I'm not really gonna judge him until next season, anything he does this season good or bad is just growing pains for me.

That being said, I like him better as a LW or false 9 than RW so far. Problem is that Jesus, Foden and Sterling play LW, whereas so far Mahrez and sometimes Sterling play RW, so that's where the minutes come from.

All his goals in that hat trick performance for Spain were playing LW, and I think his crossing is good, but KdB and Cancelo have that covered on the right side, I think potential his higher on the left side or false 9.

He started on the right mate and 2 of his goals came from there. He switched to the left which is where he came inside and curled his third in from (youtube won't let me post a link to the highlights of the game).

That's not to say he might not be better elsewhere, but people might be writing him off too quickly on the right. If he starting there for Spain and Pep fancies him there it's probably worth sticking with for a bit yet.

Yes, your right about that, I misremembered his position. I think it's the third goal which had a big lasting impression on me where he had a really good first time finish from the left that has me thinking LW more. I'm also remembering his linkup with Phil for one of his other goals from the left side this season.

I don't want to necessarily right him off on the right, I think in Spains system the wingers play inside alot more than ours so maybe that suits him more there, but he would still get chances playing inside RW in our system too.

Position is probably a cop out also (which I'm guilty of) in terms of his game, just finding more excuses for him other than the big first year in another country and whole covid thing (which is a valid enough excuse to be fair).
