It was always going to be one of Reis or Khusanov to come in and partner Dias or Stones, both cannot play together. Too young, too inexperienced.

The primary reason he can't get a game is because Dias is a captain and our experienced CB so was going to play, and Khuzanov has come into the side and been the best defensive player we have had all season.

If anything Khuzanov is currently better than Dias, he us undroppable.

Khusanov would be in exactly the same position if injuries hadn’t forced his selection. We don’t have any more dead rubbers or pissovers so he’ll have to be content coming off the bench for a few minutes now and again. Much the same next season, maybe with the odd cup game, I would imagine, unless there’s a big cull.

1- He is always ready to get the ball & ready it to pass it around
2- Even though is is young & skinny, he won most of duels ( Ground & Aerial) against strong physical opponents.

When we played Plymouth I was amazed at the spring and his aerial strength, he often hung in the air, very impressive for a very slight lad.

Seen nothing to see that he will be anything but a top player for us in the future.
