I mean Ake is 5th choice right now, Akanji came in as 5th choice. Just gotta take your chances where you get them.

Yes but Khusonov isn't getting any CB games,next season he'll need to,Stones and Ake are only getting cup games. If we go with 5 and Reis is the 5th he'll barely play which when he could be on loan would be pointless.

Yep, don't think we need more than four central defenders, and if Reis is playing so well for a weak team, and his style is so suited for Pep, he may even be the first backup for Dias / Gvardiol

I think it's better for Reis to get less minutes here than go on loan again at that point. He will have got his minutes at Girona this season.

I don't agree with the play every week or pointless argument. 20-25 games for City in a season for Reis is great education for him, and minutes will go up each year. Khusanov could well become a RB option too, so Reis might be 4th choice.

I don’t think Kush is the RB option

Rarely Crosses the ball!!

And never tries to over lap the winger, needs to get confidence back as a CB, before he gets ruined!!??

I like him as an Old School Defender, but when I have seen him play, our threat, not there on the right??

Needs more minutes, still very young :0)

I think he would be better suited to the right side of a Back 3 ??? IMO :0)

Yeah, it's been a good loan for him. He'll return as a better player after it.

Gvardiol, Dias, Khusanov, Reis and maybe another CB signing for next season. Aké and Stones might need to move on.

which makes me question what echeverri thought process was when he turned down the move to girona

I think Reis has a better chance of being a RB option. He can actually use the ball and wants to. Khusanov is not as interested when we are in possession
 
It is highly likely that Stones and Ake will be gone. There is a place for Reis as the footballing centre-half/DM, and Khusanov too. The only issue is that, once again, they will need patient support to develop as they play.
