Thanks for that memory, my missus first derby, and she thought they'd all be like that, but to be fair she's seen very few defeats in person.

Amazing how irrelevant they now seem :)

Back when derbies were raucous and full of passion, lost with all seater stadia and the sanitising of atmosphere sadly. Fab day and lived off that for the rest of the school year.

It was largely the "seated" area that day that was most raucous, a few giving it the big one and they soon were f**ked off out onto the pitch, and off to their own end with their tales between their legs from what I remember :-)

I saw the date on GMTV whilst getting dressed and immediately thought "Oh, it's 5-1 day."
