You’ve possibly seen a few of my posts but I’m a big fan of this lad. Has so much about him and his trajectory is definitely up.

Not shy using his weaker foot. Adventurous, composed, flexible and adaptable. 21!!! So much time to come into his own.

I think he's the best left full back we've had since Gael Clichy, or Cliff Sear!

defensively wow it is fantastic

offensively i just hope that sometimes he really does not need to "try" that hard. no need to shift the ball left foot to right foot so many times and sometimes a simple pass down the left to Bernado is the way to go. but he will get there. just need to keep it a bit simpler.

One of the few positives today. I was willing him to get a winner from one of those late set pieces…

In a period where the team needs a refresh and burst of energy this fella is exactly the type of player we need to be getting behind

Needs to play in the middle next season and probably before the end of this one. His comfort on the ball and speed of pass forward will push Rodri and the other midfielders up the park.

I think we have to play him at LCB now. We need to break the lines. He takes risks, but fuck me someone has to with this team at the moment. We were sloppy at times when we weren't taking risks in the first half, but we aren't going to score enough goals if we don't try something new. Everything Pep has tried recently has failed.

We have Rodri and Kovacic dropping further to collect passes because Dias, Ake, and Akanji are wary about being intercepted. Their dropping deeper, however, means the gap from midfield to the front just gets bigger and we allow the opponent to regroup. We can sit and wait and see if other sides blink and drop points, but I’d rather be brave and try something different.
