Hope he stays centrally and NOR keeps his place in the side. He’s an absolute joke at centre half.
 
I reckon he has the biggest gap between his 1st and whoever is 2nd place for POTS for a very long time. Head and shoulders our best player this season.

When he was playing further forward he was also our best attacking player. It’s a shame this lad will end up just being a centre back, he’s too good a footballer to just be a defender.

Never know what Pep might do with him from centre half...
 
Him and Dias did a joint city TV interview in the week saying how good a partnership they had and gvardiol said it wasn't difficult to switch to centre back as that's his natural preferred position.........I think pep must have seen the vid and decided to fuck it about again
 
Sadly he is playing for coach who doesn’t play players at their best position since the same coach wants to be called „ genius“ for playing players out of position when winning. Imagine playing against a club with no intention of playing and the ball playing CB are akanji and Dias.
 
I know what I didnt miss last few weeks, the careless possession from Gvardiol when playing pushed up LB. deeper in CB role he does lot less of these blind passes, and looks more solid.

Because NOR clearly needed a break after being poor last game and Gvardiol is the only other player even vaguely capable of playing left back

That was one of Pep’s least bewildering decisions today honestly
 
The most overrated player in the squad. Imagine the perception of him if he were an academy player like Lewis. Ha.

Lewis is the most overhyped player to play regularly for us in the last 10 years. If he was from Uzbekistan (or any less popular for football nation) he would be somewhere in the Belarusan division or something, not at Man City.
Meanwhile, Gvardiol is probably our player of the season and one of the best defender in the world. The least of our problems today.
