i'm so sick of his lack of physicality at CB. every long ball by the goalkeeper is controlled by any striker that goes up against him. can't win a header to save his life. And we ended up conceding through one of them. I don't understand how anyone thinks he's been our POTS given how bad he's been defensively.
 
Rinse and repeat, another crucial mistake on the ball. Pep needs to stop playing him at left back.

I've said it once, and I'll repeat it, if we were an academy player, so many would be saying that he's not good enough, as they do with Lewis.

I think he's quality at CB, but the left back experiement has run it's course.
 
The trademark stupid pass to the opposition, does it all the time when he plays at LB, he's a CB end of story and should never be used at LB again except if there are injuries, a new LB is a must and a new RB for that matter since Nunes does the same shit on the other flank.
 
i hope city sell him asap. the amount of hate he constantly gets from this fanbase is absolutely disgusting.
 
The pass was just lazy, Im not even sure he looked correctly to see if it was on.

But ive noticed thats how most of his stupid passes happen, at LB and across the pitch in some way.

At CB that is taken away from him, because he can only do vertical passes.

Hopefully next season we fix this by getting a LB and never needing Gvardiol there again.
 
He’s been doing one crazy pass, every game, almost like clockwork since he signed. It comes out of nowhere and it boggles the mind. It’s like watching someone with Narcolepsy suddenly nodding off. He’s a top player but he needs to cut this shit out.
 
He has put in a shift almost every single game all season, never unavailable, the two Croats have been our best players this season.

Pass was fine, but Kovacic was stood still when he could have been moving into that space. He wasn't looking for the pass when he should have been

Literally every player has been getting hate this season.

For me it's between him and Kovacic for player of the season, but that's not to ignore that he does give the ball away in dangerous positions a little too often.
 
It was a shit pass and could have cost us bit it didn't (though it cost Kovacic). Not the first time this season either.

However, if you think we're going to sign a LB that never makes mistakes, you are sadly mistaken.

Really good point about cb. He has to be playing there regularly next season.
