Bar that offside which he recovered from, that was a top performance. He's an incredible player when he's on form

At 27, the next 5 years should be the best of his career. He's rarely injured, seems to take care of himself, has all the talent in the world, just seems to struggle from a lack of consistency and few too many moments of immaturity. You'd expect the latter would improve with age and would hope so would the former

He had an excellent game and is forging a super partnership with Grealish - that's a really creative and dangerous combination and difficult to mark because both can go either way, pass, cross and beat a man. Well done.

Cancelo's always been something of a rough diamond going back to his days in Spain. So it's great to see him finally start to develop a bit of a polished look.

We'll still probably have to deal with the odd game where he makes a defensive faux pas or is overzealous in attack, but at least with the latter with the addition of Grealish and Foden's development it takes a bit of pressure off of him as far as forcing things is concerned.

Another good game. But today had no random ten minutes of shitness, good all round game!

Agree 100%, those two gave Azpilicueta and Cristiansen a torrid time, especially in the second half

Hilarious sequence at the end where he nutmegged yet another defender and played the ball infield before it went to Sterling who is in the kind of form where it bounced off him and killed a very technical passage of play.

Cancelo is one of the most hot and cold players I’ve ever seen. Really really talented and on his day he’s as good as any attacker or midfielder on the ball. We probably have to accept that he can’t play at this level every match but the highs are so high that you have to find a way to get him in and capture them

It’s almost like he always wants to do more, because he has so much confidence in himself…and rightly so, at times.

At others, he’s trying nutmegs in dangerous places, trying to force balls through gaps that don’t exist and turns over the ball when he’s ahead of his own winger. Those are the times you seem to have to live with to get one of the most skillful left backs in the League.

Oh, and what an absolutely sublime outside of the right foot pass he put in behind their defence for KDB to run onto today. I guess when you’re a right footer playing left back, you learn that pass early!

Another good performance, and contribution for the goal. Jinked Werner to get his shot off, but it went to Jesus, who scored!
