On the LW none have really said I am undroppable so Pep can only pick on form as and when players are fit. Bobb was excellent off the right in preseason but he is a long term wait from injury and think he will continue off the right side.

It will be between Savinho, Grealish, Doku and Nunes, but I suspect we will continue to see Savinho continue on RW until Bobb becomes an option. Nunes despite my reservation previously is delivering the most.

Injuries are dictating who plays and which position at present though.

Not sure either of them are fit, so looks highly likely that he will.
 
Really glad for the lad. I have plenty of doubts he will make it as a midfielder (he lacks the ball control and 360 vision for it), but I thunk as a winger he is really good.

Nevertheless, our midfield is terrible right now, and I think Nunes csnnot possibli be worse there, so maybe he deserves a chance.

Another good game, well done.
 
Probably the best again (of a terrible bunch).
But that we‘re relying on him to be our main attacking threat is a searing indictment of where we are at the moment.
Which isn‘t a criticism of him at all.
 
He has great crossing ability, If Erling was good with his head he'd get a ton of assists, Phil should've scored from his cutback early in the second half and it would've been a different game.
 
He was great once again and deserves immense credit.

First half he creates that chance for bernardo that's blocked by going down the outside and cutting it back. He gives haaland the cross where he chested it and put it wide, he put in the ball for our first shot on target, he did his man down the outside again to give foden a brilliant opportunity which he put wide.

thats 4 very good chances hes created, he cannot do more than that, when was the last time grealish or doku or savinho or foden created that many chances in a game?

He created literally everything until Doku came on. Only attacking player worthy of his place right now.
 
Shame he doesn’t trust his left foot to shoot with. He had a brilliant chance to score today but decided to cut back and got tackled.

Then 2 minutes later crossed with his left foot.
