Name me a better right back than him so far this season. Baffles me there are still people wanting him out of the side every week when he's been magnificent all season.

I've backed him from the off and so i'm buzzing with how far he has come along. I said a while back that solid right back performances could earn him a chance in midfield or even on the wing but I feel he's surpassed all hopes and expectations to the point where he's actually too important at right back to play anywhere else now.

Called it last year - Nunes had all the attributes to be a very good RB and he's developed between the ears this year. Been so impressed with him - the assist was great but I loved that recovery tackle against Wirtz. Superb

If he was a January signing and we never knew the 18 months before then, we’d be saying we had one of the best right backs in Europe.

He’d never even played right back in his career before last season.

Might have the best redemption arc of any City player ever! A total gem of a player!

Tbf not sure he was ever as bad as some felt he was, but it's great to see him improving and winning people over. When so many footballers throw their toys out of the pram if things aren't to their liking, it's great to see someone act like a proper professional, get their head down and apply themselves. It suggests he respects himself, the club, his colleagues and indirectly the fans too. Long may it continue.
