I think it could be easy to underestimate the difference he has made coming back into the side. Several things have happened to bring about City's current uplift in form and I am sure Ruben is one of them.
I think he shares that quality that Vinnie seemed to have that indefinable quality of making the players around him better.; maybe it is just leadership, maybe it's my imagination...

It's not a coincidence that we've only lost one game with him in the side this season. He shores us up defensively which in turn makes the entire team better.
