isnt he injured? he has not played last few games of this u20 whatever tournament he was busy with..

I think he will be given a few cameos, but like Reis he is one for the future. A lot depends on how many City players can stay fit. In some ways the exit from the CL could be blessing in disguise, after this week there won’t be the game every 3 or 4 days which we have become used to, so it will give players more recovery and training time. It will be interesting to see if he comes on against Plymouth though.

I think you are going to be in a for a surprise mate. This kid is the real deal.

He won't be Messi, but he will be another Argentine Aimar, Ortega, Riquelme, Gallardo equivalent.
Thats a big shout, but like mcfcpride said it remains to be seen

He's the real deal but the reality is that he's behind many players in the pecking order. For the position he plays he's competing with Marmoush, Phil, Bobb, McAtee, KDB, etc.

They're all more experienced and physically prepared for PL football. And some are fighting for their future at City.

It won't be easy for Echeverri to get minutes before the Club World Cup (except maybe Plymouth and UEFA Youth League?).

But if he does... Then we know we've got a superstar on our hands.

He already has a full season behind him.. he doesn’t necessarily need to play honestly.

I think he gets game time against Plymouth, but I can see why Pep seems reluctant to offer up too much support in him playing much for the remainder of the season.

Not getting CL football is a real possibility and we need players who have been there and done it.

He will get his chance to shine in the club world cup and hopefully next season, but for now we need the senior players to step up.

This Lad has it all, He could be the game-changer we have been looking for
Somebody that drops a shoulder and the player leaves them for dead, could be very much in the mode of a kinkladze

Caught a few of the South American Under-20 games earlier this month and must say he was impressive for Argentina.

Whilst I understand he played for River Plate & their league isn't exactly afraid of a strong tackle or two, I'm a bit fearful for the lad being thrown in here at the deep end against some of the more robust Premiership sides. Even Nico got a 'welcome to England' type of tackle from that Orient player which took him a few days to recover from. So we'll need to protect a very slender looking, 19 year old who is just coming back from an injury.

He has all the tools with skill & directness & keen eye for goal. However, you just know Pep will initially stick him on the wing, because he doesn't 'trust' him in the middle of the park yet.

They are tough as old boots the Argentina's, playing grassroots football in Argentina is not for the faint-hearted and they put the better younger kids against older age groups just for that thing

Watching that I can see why we signed him. He can receive the ball under pressure and then he's off..Haaland will enjoy playing with him.
