There is nuance in every scenario.
In the two examples of one on ones in 4 days, Mitoma was slightly closer to goal, but at an angle, whereas The Young Boy was more central and a bit further out.
Both needed the dink/lobbed finish. Mitoma messed up and the Young Boy didn’t.
Whether the outcome was expected or not, Ortega made the save and was praised, and so he should be.
Ederson had little chance tonight because the guy finished better.
That doesn’t mean people won’t compare and contrast and suggest Ortega is a better one vs one keeper later on in the season, which is what I was trying to suggest.
