Fantastic save in the first half - his shot stopping has improved tenfold. Those concentration drills he’s supposedly doing (and putting on his instagram) seem to be working.

Also his passing has gone back to normal after a shit few weeks (back end of last season/start of this) where it became a bit complacent.

I’d argue that he’s the best in the world at the moment.

So integral to the way we play. I didn’t get the exclusion of Joe Hart, especially with Bravo, but Ederson makes it all seem so obvious. 5 premier leagues, 2 fa cups, 3 league cups and a champions league (where he excelled) - brilliant keeper, brilliant footballer (as nicely pointed out by Shay Given on motd 2 last night). Possibly the most vital member of our team, definitely right up there

There was a lovely bit late in the second half yesterday when the play had become open and chaotic. We had lost all shape and everyone was breathing out their arses. Ederson managed to collect the ball in our box and Foden was on his chinstrap, pleading with him and waving his hands at him to just keep it and slow the game down so we could regain shape. Instead, Ederson rolled it out straight to him to start another counter, and off we went again. Comic gold.

Nice to see him get the plaudits he deserves on MOTD2 last night. He sometimes gets taken a bit for granted by fans, but we're very fortunate to have him. There's literally not a single goalkeeper in the world that I'd swap him for.

There’s no doubt he’s playing the best football of his City career at the moment. Can’t be a coincidence that we’ve now got the best back-up keeper we’ve ever had?

Don’t give a fuck what Ballon Dor say. Eddie is without doubt the worlds best goalkeeper
