I think he is a far better player than he is being given credit for.

He gets an assist and all you here is "outside of his assist he did nothing." He scores and all you hear is " outside of his goal, he did nothing." Outside of the the goals assists through ball passes, intelligent runs and fantastic movement to get into open space and the right position time after time... Sure! He does nothing else.

His G/A contributions keep adding up as he does more and more of nothing.

Peak Cheeki and Peak Foden overshadow him. But he is fantastic and consistent with his movements and passes His shooting is a bot hit or miss and his tackling is meh!

But overall, a fantastic addition and a ner positive to us.

May he continue to do nothing!

He produces 1-2 moments of brilliance each game. Defensively, he is a liability. I do think him and Cherki work better together than Foden and Cherki

No not just noticed it...

And yesterday baring hid goal he did very little and it's the same every match with him

While I don't particularly rate Rice as highly as many do, i think its a false comparison. Do i think Rice is far more Robust? Sure. Had Rice be3n playing for us this season and playing the exact minutes Reijnders has played, do i think he'd have any more G/A contributions than TJ? No.

We'd have been more solid defensively, i think, but perhaps even less dynamic than we are at present. And we are currently not that dynamic.

So apples and oranges. Rice is much nore comparable to Rodri and Gonzo.

I thought he was very good in the first half, probably his best game since joining. Having Rodri behind him definitely helped.

His best game isnt a bench mark however...his performances have been very poor so it doesnt take much to improve on that
