Considering the drama over being so far behind United etc., to only potentially be 6 points worse off at the end of the season isn't great but isn't that bad really.

We've gone backwards a bit and they've managed to get better which is tough to do when last season you end up on 89 points.

Not as bad as it seemed.

4 defeats obviously changes the complexion but let's be positive.

Respectable. We havn't kicked on but it's better than some would make out.

Next season will really define where we are heading.

A FA Cup win +2nd place wouldn't be a disaster by any means.
We're not going to win the league every year!

We could do with at least hitting the 80 point mark , even that's gonna take three wins from the final four league fixtures ... but when you look at the table it's clear where our failings have been this season .... at only 31 goals conceded , we have THE best 'goals against' column in the Premiership (yet somehow we've lost one more game than them) , and we are currently lagging 18 goals behind the rags ..... it's those goals have have made all the difference.

We scored 93 goals last season ....

Looks like we'll finish second , but that will never be enough for Mancini ..... not whilst one other club finishes even higher !

A FA Cup win +2nd place wouldn't be a disaster by any means.
We're not going to win the league every year!

With the amount of injuries we have had, only been able to play our preferd starting eleven once. not to mention the disaster that were transfer window, Second place and Fa cup must be seen as a success, Its our CL performance that must be qestioned if anything.

As things stand , we are 32 goals worse off than we were last season , even though we still have four games still to play ....

goals win games , and sadly we just haven't scored enough of them.


Contrast that with the fact that , so far , the rags have scored TEN goals less than they scored last season ... yet have already won the title !
