Give him a chance in his actual position. Playing him tonight at RB against a back five meant we had no overlapping threat on the right.

Would you want him receiving the ball from a goal kick ( or splitting ) from the goalkeeper

For me right back is the safer option for him until he can learn to pass a ball and not make extremely rash decisions to dive in. I have a lot of love for him, he has some very good attributes but he's a walking disaster waiting to happen with the ball, he'd have more of the ball at centre back and any fuck ups will be intensified by being in that position. I'd sooner he was out of the way at right back.

He is a good player but for me he needs to be loaned for a season like Arsenal did with Saliba.

He has played 34 top flight European league games in his entire career and is 22 in February.

That number needs to be in and around the 120 mark before he can start playing at the level we require week in week out.

He's strong, not afraid of a 50/50 and can ping a pass with decent accuracy. I like him, needs more game time at CB but then so does Gvardiol. Once the language improves then so will his footballing skillset

Well, if that’s the worry Gvardiol is doing well to start at centre half. Seems to have a brain fart with the ball on an almost weekly basis

He's definitely too raw to start at centre-back just yet. I actually think he's all right on the ball, and at right-back, his speed is invaluable. Not writing him off yet, and think there's a really good talent.

I agree with rotating Gvardiol out of the team for a game or two, but with Khusanov playing next to Stones perhaps instead of Dias.

Well with Gvardiol right now the passes are largely going to the opposition, so not sure how this would be a downgrade
