Not sure he played wide of Silva yesterday and didn’t look as good as games when he's come on as a sub. Seemed to turn back on himself a lot. Obvioulsly a different position, but think Garcia has moved ahead of him at the moment.

Like starting him against Spurs last season when we simply had to win, and he scored the winner, is that enough trust for you ?

He was quite anonymous in the second half of that game. Apart from his goal, he didn’t do a lot, wasn’t particularly involved in the game that much.

Can I ask how many PL games do you think Foden has to start in the next 4mths so he can take over Dave's role?

I think it's more quality not quantity mins,he won't be dave by august,no player is going to be dave,he will rotate with bernie probably to start with then settle into it,we don't tend to replace our oldies with like for like exactly
