Just don't get it mate,I know he wants to keep him grounded type of thing, but today was perfect for him to start, and I really thought he would have done.
Agreed. And like others have said he doesn't pay the fearful respect that Sterling has towards Wank-Biscuit, Foden probed that today within minutes minutes of coming on fresh and hungry.

Love Pep probably our best ever manager , but he is stubborn when it comes to Foden , he is one of the best eleven players at our club and thats a fact , he is 20 years old so three games a week is hardly going to burn him out . The lad is verging on world class now , let go of the reins Pep this lad is ready to amaze.

Still scratching my head around why he didn't start.

1. Rested. Check.

2. Toasted Wan Bissaka in his last game against them. Check.

3. Sterling has struggled against Wan Bissaka every single time he went against him. Check.

Surely he starts then (and why I made the comment before this game). But still no.

I can't defend Pep here. And while I understand rotation with regards to Bernardo, we had more rest than United for this game.

All valid points.
Id love to know why Pep didn’t start him or play his most suitable xi.
There must be another reason for this

I wonder if he’s being punished for giving the ball away for the Everton equaliser.
