But you want to praise our physios this year because we have no injuries? You can't have it both ways. You can't praise them when we're injury free and praise them when we have injuries (your logic not mine.

You can definitely praise the medical staff for keeping down preventable injuries and at the same time not blame them for contact and ligament injuries that no medical staff can prevent.

I would be surprised to see any other team as successful as ours, with a manager generally recognised as the world's best, winning 8 trophies and smashing records, being so repeatedly criticised on a fan forum. I really am shocked at the level of bile for one 'poor' season, in which we were decimated by injuries to our whole left side for the full year and in which we still qualified for the CL. Have your ideas and preferences, sure, but the level of criticism is beyond reasonable, in my view, and comes from a small number of posters who trot out the same stuff in several threads:

We all know you don't like Rodri, Gundogan and Mahrez. We all know that now Garcia wants to leave he is absolutely shit, one of the worst we have had. We all know that Pep is biased. We all know that Mahrez is a waste of space and no way should he be playing instead of Phil. Now we all know your repeated posts, can we simply get behind the manager and the team?
100% or in football jargon 110%.

You've just admitted that our season last year was completely derailed by injuries. We must have had a really shit physio team back then because we obviously have a brilliant one this year since we have a fully fit squad?
Where did anyone say Sane's, Aguero's, Laporte's and Stones' injuries were caused by a shit physio ?.

Don thinks that the way the club brings back players from injuries is beyond reproach because we currently have less injuries than everyone else. He then said that last season was ruined because we had so many injuries. So I asked him if our physios were poor last season if we had so many injuries? Now I know that regardless of whether we have a lot of injuries or no injuries we have a brilliant medical team at the club, of course we do. But I also know that that doesn’t mean you can have the same strategy for a 30 odd yo recovering from a knee injury and a 20 yo recovering from a muscle injury. Between Pep and the medical team they decided that Aguero was capable of starting 3 games in a week. It backfired spectacularly and questioning that is completely acceptable.

So Foden being an attacker makes sense. If we played a 4-4-2 he'd probably have been used on the wings.

The younger version of David Silva would have likely gone through the same transition as Foden is now. In fact he probably did. Bernardo's currently going through it too.

I think moving from out wide to a central area at top level isn't as easy as it seems. Milner showcased that when he was here. It takes time.

I don't know what anyone thinks, I just read the posts as written. You wrote "We must have had a really shit physio team back then" , it's either an honest opinion or sarcasm, only you know, we can only interpret what is written. You make some good points but imo spoil your posts by going ott, no offence intended but that is how it looks, you would not be alone in that. You didn't answer my question :"Where did anyone say Sane's, Aguero's, Laporte's and Stones' injuries were caused by a shit physio ?.", I don't believe anyone said that.
Do you know something about Aguero's injury that we haven't been told, if you do please share, otherwise we have no evidence whatsoever that starting 3 games in a week "backfired spectacularly" as you claim. It is those type of unproven statements written as facts rather than as your opinion that imo are frustrating for posters.
I hope we can agree that hopefully the physio's will not be called into action tonight and as seldom as possible for the rest of the season.

I remember David Silva playing left wing for a very good Valencia side. He was provider in chief for star man,David Villa, from the wing mostly. When we signed him I admit I was surprised, I thought we had bought the wrong David at the time. People forget he played very often wide left for Mancini, and he was no "kid" then, he was 24 when he came to us. Imo the comparisons are very appropriate.

That’s what happens when you jump in on others conversations.

You can dress up the Aguero situation as much as Dom if you like but I’ll say it as I see it under my own username if it’s all the same to you.

Utter bollocks
This is the same as the Laporte situation. When Pep benches them suddenly their form has been down or even abysmal in some eyes. Pure revisionism. Same with Phil not playing the last 6 league games, now he’s back to being a kid who should be grateful for games in cup games until he’s 24.

You watch a different game to me if you think he was still turning in the same performance level.
We wouldn't know because idolo put him on the bench for 6 months because he wasn't running around like a **** enough.

I do remember him coming off the bench and nailing a last minute freekick to put us through in the Champs league.

I also witnessed a season without his talent on the wings, you may remember it, it was that disappointing one where we finished a country mile behind Liverpool.

I also see our left wing position this season has been erm less than exciting so far as well.

So maybe you need a better pair of eyes to watch the games with or more knowledge on exciting footballers.

Do you mean the season without him or the season without him, Laporte, Mendy, Aguero and others?
So, he was benched for not following instructions?

Some people have completely forgotten the last 6 months Sané played for us. It was horrendous to watch, with him sulking and Pep screaming at him on the touchline before he inevitably was the first person taken off.

He wasnt playing well and he wasnt doing the hard graft Pep wanted so he was rightfully on the bench for 2/3rds of that run in.

Not surprisingly he is coming in for some early criticism at Bayern as well. Dropped to the bench mostly and some senior player said last week he had a lot to learn about being a Bayern player which was reported as a comment on his work rate.
