Learned his lessons when David Silva was around. His sharp movement with the ball across the pitch is something he must have picked up from Merlin.

Nope.i dont think so.Foden has had that particular ability since day 1.
The ability to almost glide past players effortlessly with the ball is not something which can be taught.Either you have that ,as a footballer.or you don't. Imo.

Excellent point. Nigel Gleghorn coached him at u14s I think & told me what amazed everyone was; whatever football problem they gave him, he figured it out in an instant. It’s always been thought that it’s his footballing brain will set him apart from just being brilliant to potential elite world class.

I know we shouldn’t, but it’s hard not to get a bit silly about how well he’s playing.

Needs to be first name on the sheet in lieu of KDB’s injury.

Ghosted/coasted in for the goal.

They used to say that about former Norwich /Westham utd and England World Cup Winner player Martin Peters..used to ghost into the box unnoticed to score....
