well the remainder of the team didn't play against an injured shit fb or a 37 year old shit fb. didn't even try challenging them today. just took a step or two if he wanted then looked for the cbs to pass to. did you watch the match?
 
Where's his energy and drive gone, bobbins today, he looks nowhere near the player he was, going backwards at an alarming rate, he doesn't even try to take a player on anymore, every pass is predictable, he either plays it back or sideways, he looks shot to pieces.

How about playing him in his actual position? Or is he supposed to reach a certain level at a position that doesn’t suit him?

Yeah, most of the complaints seems to be he didn't beat Young on the dribble, which is clearly not what he's instructed to do. I think personally he can, but it doesn't seem to be what Pep is after for his current role.
