47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

I see it the opposite way, he's the one player out there today who should be taking the opportunity to become our main man with Kev and Rodri out.

Still yet to see him take a game by the scruff of the neck, although he was much better in the last 10 minutes today.
I agree I expected him to drive the team as KDB has done in past but he’s struggling to find any form. Looks like he’s very unhappy on pitch at minute.

i guess you must have watched a different match then. do i need to mention he spent over half the game on the wing? his shooting hasn't been up to par this season yes, but his creative numbers are way up from last season and that part of his game should not be criticised at this point in time.

My post was about his performance today. Nunes created chances, Foden didn't. He wasn't our best player as the poster I replied to wrote.

But Foden showed fight and gave everything. Think he'll regain form.

Glad it wasn’t just me ! Couldn’t quite believe the shite on this thread

I think he had confidence knocked at EUROs. I think that tournament and the reaction to it was not something he has experienced. He will be ok.

Foden created some chances early on through his crossing at RW but faded in the 2nd half.

Thought he played quite well today, some of his crosses and corners were top class and nobody attacked them, one of them most of our players were facing the wrong fucking way because they weren’t concentrating.

It was his finishing that let him down today.

On another day he puts away both of his chances and we win.

He will come good, he is young and just in an early season slump after his best ever season and scapegoated in the euros. The three aging midfielders that started today who are all in massive decline worries me more.

While I certainly appreciate his efforts in defending but it looked laughable at times. Basic things all wrong. What are they doing in the training?
